Purpose and permitted use

Shiny Tracker is provided for lawful personal tracking of shiny hunts and related progress. You must not misuse or disrupt the app or microsite, gain unauthorised access, or copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer software or content without permission, except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.

App Store and licence terms

Purchase, distribution, billing, and refunds are handled through Apple where applicable. If no custom end-user licence agreement applies, Apple's Standard EULA applies. These additional Terms do not replace Apple or App Store terms or mandatory consumer law.

Local data, iCloud, and backups

Hunt data is stored locally by default. Optional iCloud sync uses your personal iCloud account when enabled. You remain responsible for your device, Apple ID and iCloud settings, and backups where relevant. Blue Snake cannot guarantee that app data will never be lost, without limiting rights you have under applicable law.

Updates and availability

Blue Snake may update, change, or discontinue Shiny Tracker or related services. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or any warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

Original Shiny Tracker and Blue Snake software, website and app assets, and content remain the property of Blue Snake or its licensors. Third-party names, trademarks, and other rights remain the property of their respective owners.

Independent fan-app disclaimer

Shiny Tracker is an independent, fan-made tracker. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or Game Freak. Pokémon and related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Liability and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, Blue Snake is not liable for indirect loss or loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited and does not exclude mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Mandatory consumer protections and the competent court available to a consumer under applicable law remain unaffected. Questions or complaints can be sent to shinytracker@bluesnake.nl or raised by telephone during the availability hours listed above.
